On Wednesday, May 13, the Bates community will come together to show our Bobcat pride and celebrate what makes Bates great. Bring the Bates community into your home during our livestream celebration, which will feature familiar campus faces as well as the Bobcat!
Whether you consider a gift to the Bates Fund or to our Friends of Bates Athletics challenge, your participation at any level will contribute to the joy, support, and connection that Great Day provides to Batesies near and far.
It’s STILL a Great Day — thanks to you!

The Bobcat spirit was strong together and we appreciate everyone coming together to show their support. Thousands of alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students demonstrated their passion for Bates by tuning into the livestream and making their gifts.
Special shout-outs go to Class of 2018 for most gifts overall (118 donors), and Class of 1989 for the most dollars raised ($59,727)!
Thank you for showing us why It's STILL a Great Day to be a Bobcat.
1833 days ago by Alicia ReaIn true Bates fashion, our community has come together to show It’s STILL a Great Day to be a Bobcat. Even though we have reached our goal of 1,855 donors - let’s keep going! Our students and faculty need your support. Let’s see if we can make this the biggest Great Day ever!
